Guardians acquire pitcher Noah Syndergaard in trade with Dodgers
The Cleveland Guardians have acquired pitcher Noah Syndergaard in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Syndergaard will join the Guardians after he was included in a deal involving Amed Rosario. Expect the veteran to join Cleveland's rotation after he is able to rehab successfully from his current blister issues.
In 55.1 innings this season, Syndergaard has accounted for a 4.68 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating, a 15.4% strikeout percentage, and a 8.6% swinging strike rate.
