Jordan Luplow joining Twins bench Friday

Minnesota Twins outfielder Jordan Luplow is not in the lineup against right-hander Dane Dunning and the Texas Rangers on Friday.

What It Means:

Luplow was in the last four lineups and went 1-for-10 with a double, a run scored, and a strikeout. Matt Wallner is replacing Luplow in left field and hitting sixth on Friday. Carlos Correa is hitting third and Max Kepler is batting cleanup for Minnesota.

numberFire’s models project Wallner ($2,800) for 11.1 FanDuel points on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total is 4.33 and the game total is 8.5. Dunning has a 3.19 ERA in front of a 4.36 xERA this season, with a 40.2% hard-hit rate, 18.7% strikeout rate, and 6.5% walk rate. His strikeout rate is low (bottom 18th percentile of MLB), but he also isn't handing out many walks (top 77th).
