Rangers' Josh Jung (thumb) activated from IL for Monday night start
The Texas Rangers activated third baseman Josh Jung (thumb) from the injured list for a start in Monday's game against the Boston Red Sox.
Jung was having a fantastic rookie season before suffering a fractured thumb on a wild pitch. After a month of recovering, he'll join the Rangers' lineup today at third base and will bat fifth against the Red Sox while Josh Smith sits.
Jung has a $3,100 salary on FanDuel for his return and was averaging 10.9 fantasy points per game prior to his injury, maintaining a strong .813 OPS.
