Everson Pereira (hamstring) still sidelined for Yankees
New York Yankees outfielder Everson Pereira (hamstring) is not in the lineup again for Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Pereira was held out the last two games due to a hamstring injury and Yankees manager Aaron Boone said he may need to hit the injured list. Oswaldo Cabrera will cover left field again Tuesday for the Yankees.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Yankees' implied total is a middling 4.32 and the game total is 8.5. Kikuchi has a 3.81 ERA and 4.20 xERA this season, with a 41.9% hard-hit rate (bottom 30th percentile of league), 25.4% strikeout rate (65th), and 7.0% walk rate (71st).
