Austin Wells absent for Yankees again Monday afternoon
New York Yankees catcher Austin Wells is not in the lineup again for Monday afternoon's series finale against left-hander JP Sears and the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means:
The Yankees have mostly alternated starts between Wells and Jose Trevino, but they will keep the left-handed hitting Wells out of the lineup against the Athletics' southpaw. Trevino will catch for Carlos Rodon and bat eighth on Monday afternoon.
