Mitch Garver absent for Rangers again in Game 2
Texas Rangers catcher Mitch Garver is not in the lineup again for Game 2 of the Wild Card Series against right-hander Zach Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Rangers are rolling out the same lineup that earned an easy win in Game 1. Robbie Grossman will start at designated hitter and bat third while Jonah Heim will catch for Nathan Eovaldi and bat sixth.
numberFire’s models project Grossman ($2,700) for 7.7 and Heim ($2,800) for 6.7 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers' implied total is 3.72 and the game total is 8.0. Eflin registered an elite xERA (3.09) and walk rate (3.4%) this season, and his strikeout rate (26.5%) is second-best among Wednesday's projected starters.
