Rangers install Travis Jankowski in centerfield Monday
The Texas Rangers will have Travis Jankowski start in centerfield for Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Jankowski had a surprising campaign for the Rangers a season ago and will continue helping out in the outfield this season. He'll bat ninth and cover centerfield while Leody Taveras catches a breather.
Jankowski's first hit of the season went for a home run, which came as a surprise as the journeyman notched a single home run all last year.
