Jesse Winker (illness) batting sixth Thursday for Nationals
Washington Nationals outfielder Jesse Winker (illness) will start in left field and bat sixth in Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Martin Perez and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Winker will return after being held out of the last two lineups. He will replace a fellow lefty hitter, Eddie Rosario, in the lineup on Thursday as the Pirates send a southpaw to the mound.
