Brett Baty sitting versus lefty for Mets Sunday; Zack Short starting at third
The New York Mets did not list Brett Baty as a starter for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Baty has been playing better this year and has even gotten some more work against left-handed pitchers, but will take a seat against left-handed ace-in-the-makings Cole Ragans. Zack Short will take over at third base and is listed eighth in New York's batting order.
Baty is batting .302 across his first 56 plate appearances, with 1 home run, 6 runs, and 9 RBI. Short has a $2,100 salary on FanDuel.
