Wyatt Langford not in Rangers' lineup Monday
The Texas Rangers did not include Wyatt Langford in their lineup for Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Langford will take Monday evening off as the Rangers open their series with the Tigers. The promising rookie is off to a slow start, but is still batting for a respectable .267 average.
Langford has yet to hit a Major League home run, but the 6 he hit in Spring Training would imply there will be plenty more in his future. He has 7 runs and 8 RBI to go with his .655 OPS through 68 plate appearances.
