Mitch Garver sitting Monday for Seattle
Seattle Mariners catcher Mitch Garver is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Frankie Montas and the Cincinnati Reds.
Garver will sit following 12 straight starts. Mitch Haniger will take over at designated hitter and bat cleanup, while Luke Raley will move over to right field and bat seventh. Jonatan Clase will replace Dominic Canzone (shoulder) in left field and hit eighth.
numberFire's models project Haniger for 10.5 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mariners have the No. 25 implied total (3.79) in the majors today, while the game total (7.0) is the lowest on the board.
