Red Sox place Tyler O'Neill (head) on 7-day injured list
The Boston Red Sox placed outfielder Tyler O'Neill on the 7-day injured list Thursday.
O'Neill missed the past two games following a collision in Monday's series opener with the Cleveland Guardians. Wilyer Abreu and Jarren Duran will occupy the corner outfield spots again in Thursday's finale against right-hander Carlos Carrasco. Abreu will bat third and Duran will remain in the leadoff spot.
numberFire's models project Abreu for 11.1 and Duran for 10.6 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Red Sox's implied total (4.54) is No. 2 out of 10 active teams today, while the game total (9.0) is the highest on the board.
