Mets' Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) ruled out for season
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) has been ruled out for the season.
Cespedes suffered another hamstring strain on Friday and needs six weeks to recover. The problem is, there are only five weeks left in the season, making the decision a no brainer.
Cespedes had a strong season, when healthy as he slashed .292/.352/.540 with 17 home runs but was limited to just 81 games due to various injuries.
