Blue Jays rule out Marcus Stroman (shoulder) for Opening Day
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman (shoulder) has been officially ruled out for Opening Day.
While there is still a chance that Stroman could pitch in the opening series against the New York Yankees, it won't be on Opening Day. However, it all depends on how Stroman's shoulder responds to his bullpen sessions and future throwing, so stay tuned for another update as we get closer to the start of the season.
Our models project Stroman for a 3.58 ERA and 1.29 WHIP, with 155 strikeouts over 191.0 innings pitched in 2018.
