Abraham Almonte hits a grand slam Sunday for Royals
Kansas City Royals outfielder Abraham Almonte hit a grand slam Sunday to help the Royals beat the Detroit Tigers 8-5.
Almonte's bomb came in the 6th inning to give the Royals the lead. It was a towering no-doubter to right field that traveled 425 feet. After a hit like that, it might be hard for manager Ned Yost to not to find Almonte an at bat Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Almonte is now averaging 8.0 FanDuel points per game this season.
