Diamondbacks' Robbie Ray (oblique) progressing, feels 'very good'
Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Robbie Ray (oblique) threw from a distance of 90 feet on Monday.
Ray told Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo he felt "very good" after the session but there still isn't a clear timetable for his return. The 26-year-old left-hander last pitched on April 29 before landing on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right oblique.
Ray is averaging 32.2 FanDuel points through six starts this season while spinning a 4.88 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with 45 strikeouts and 17 walks in 27 2/3 innings.
