Mets' Matthew Den Dekker out for Monday's road game against the Padres
New York Mets outfielder Matthew Den Dekker is out of the lineup for Monday's road game against the San Diego Padres on Monday.
Dekker was starting in the outfield for the last three games, but the Mets are back to National League action tonight, meaning they lose one batter from the lineup. Brandon Nimmo will cover center field, Jose Bautista will move into the outfield and Asdrubal Cabrera will cover second base with Dekker out.
Dekker has played in only six games so far in 2018, and he has yet to notch a hit over 19 plate appearances.
