1. San Antonio Spurs

Well, I, for one, am not surprised by this. The San Antonio Spurs make it a Texas standoff among the top two teams, thanks to a single-digit composite of seven -- that's right, seven.

Their worst ranking of any category is offensive rating, unless you'd like to look past that given their slow, methodical approach (25th in pace).

There's nothing to look past on defense because their rating of 100.9 is 2.4 points better than the second-best defensive franchise. Their top-10 ranks on both ends produces the league's best net rating (7.3) and best average nERD (71.63).

Gregg Popovich has been the only coach in the past 16 seasons and has led the team to a playoff appearance in every season. The Spurs have been the Association's model of success, consistency and efficiency for quite some time.
