9. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic have a net rating of zero and rank 13th in average nERD per season, but their composite of 60 marks the first entry in the top nine franchises analytically. The lower marks stem from offensive numbers like the Magic's 16th-best offensive rating.

However, be that as it may, Orlando is sixth in effective field goal percentage (49.9%) and even better defensively. They rank 10th in points allowed per 100 possessions over the past 16 seasons.

Eight of those seasons came with Dwight Howard as the team's franchise player, so you have to figure he was a big factor in the team's shooting and defensive success over that span.
