The 20 Best Individual Postseason Performances in NBA History
15. Charles Barkley, 1993
Win Shares: 4.60
It's well known that Charles Barkley never won an NBA title, but if he was ever close, it was in 1993 with the Phoenix Suns. At age 29, Barkley averaged 26.6 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists across 24 playoff games. And, with an overall PER of 24.9, he produced an impressive 1.3 win shares on the defensive end while totaling .215 win shares per 48.
Barkley's Suns won three series and 13 games, but Jordan's Bulls stood in the way. Ultimately, Barkley lost in the Finals, but not until he exceeded Jordan's own win share total for the totality of the '93 playoffs.
