The 20 Best Individual Postseason Performances in NBA History
T10. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 1974
Win Shares: 4.69
LeBron shares the 10 spot with another player commonly known by only his first name -- and that would be Kareem. That's right, in 1974 -- before his time with the Lakers -- Abdul-Jabbar averaged 32.2 points, 15.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.4 blocks over the course of the playoffs. In those 16 games, the 26-year-old produced .297 win shares per 48 and a PER of 28.3.
Unlike LeBron's efforts, Kareem's were all for naught. His Milwaukee Bucks took the '74 Celtics to Game 7 in the Finals, but even an outstanding individual performance of his caliber couldn't take the title alone.
