3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 1/18/18

Lately, Terry Rozier's fantasy production has been on the downswing. After posting six straight games of at least 25 FanDuel points, he's been limited to no more than 19 FanDuel points in three straight. Part of that is some mediocre shooting, but the other factor is his inconsistent minutes.

The minutes issue might not be a thing tonight with both Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart questionable to play.

Per NBAWowy, in 666 total minutes with Kyrie off the floor this season, Rozier sees a bump in his FanDuel points per minute from 0.78 to 0.89. When only Smart is off, the per-minute result is the same, with just a marginal increase from when Smart's playing alongside him (0.83).

Either way, Rozier makes for a good play. If one of Smart or Kyrie is out, Rozier will see a boost in minutes. However, if both were to miss, Rozier would likely become a very popular play. With both Irving and Smart off the floor in 2017-18, Rozier is averaging 0.97 FanDuel points per minute over 127 minutes.

For the time being, the Boston Celtics' backcourt is up in the air. Even with our models accounting for Smart and Irving playing, Rozier is still our top point-per-dollar play on the board. That will only get better if we get news that either (or both) of his teammates can't go.
