Trey Burke Breakout

As much as it pains me to mention Trey Burke (see: his brief stint in Washington), no one’s here to ignore the garnered respect and attention he deserves since joining the Knicks.

Shoot, we’re probably even a little late to the party, given a FanDuel salary jump of around $1,400 earlier this week. But don’t be surprised if the money sticks. Over his last nine games, Burke has missed at least five-times value only twice, neither of which were complete duds. He’s also averaging nearly 15 points and 5 assists in just 24 minutes of action through the month of March, while shooting 51 percent from the field and 39 percent from deep.

While his 42 points against the Hornets on Monday may not be the norm, Burke is scoring the ball effectively, keeping his assists up, and even chipping in on the other end of the floor as of late with nearly two steals a game over his last four.

We’ll have to keep a watchful eye on the salary of course, but as of right now, it appears to be full steam ahead with Burke (who's somehow still only 25 years old) and his value when available below the $6,000 mark.

The Knicks take on the Pistons tomorrow night, followed by the Magic, Heat, and Bucks next week.
