Most Improved Fantasy Player

Victor Oladipo, Indiana Pacers

Victor Oladipo had an ADP of 59.7 across the fantasy hoops industry this year, but he finished his first campaign with the Indiana Pacers as the 12th-ranked player in nine-category leagues and 10th-best player in eight-category formats.

He showed signs of early-round upside when he finished 34th in nine-category leagues in 2015-16 with the Orlando Magic, but his 86th-ranked finish in 2016-17 with the Oklahoma City Thunder seemed to squash those hopes and made him an afterthought in a lot of drafts going into this year.

Those who took a chance on his post-hype bounce-back potential were rewarded, however, with averages of 23.1 points, 2.1 threes, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.3 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 3.0 turnovers in 34.0 minutes per game, and a shooting split of 47.8% from the field and 79.9% from the free throw line.

Drafting a first-round value like Oladipo in the middle rounds probably resulted in a fantasy championship for a good many of his owners this year, so congratulations if you managed to get him on your squad.

Honorable Mention: Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons), Jrue Holiday (New Orleans Pelicans), LaMarcus Aldridge (San Antonio Spurs)
