Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors
DraftKings Salary: $8,600
There aren't a ton of high-priced players available on a two-game slate, but of those who are available, none can light it up quite like Stephen Curry.
A career 47.7% shooter, Curry hit 56.5% of all shots and 51.9% of his threes in the preseason. He dropped a cool 21.8 points per game and at least 4 assists and a steal despite only playing an average of 20.5 minutes. Simply put, he's letting the other teams know early that if they want the crown, they're going to have to come and get it.
With Westbrook looking unlikely to play this evening, the Warriors are favored by 12 points. While Paul George and company should be able to hang for a while, it's not unreasonable to expect the game to get out of hand, which would mean that Curry could get a little less run than usual this evening.
With Curry's efficiency, however, three quarters might as well be four. We have him projected with the highest DraftKings output of the night if Russ sits. At 50.0 DraftKings points, we have him returning a value of 5.8 points per $1,000.
