NBA Market Share Report: Banking on Bradley Beal and the Volume
Atlanta Hustle
After three consecutive double-doubles to keep pace with a strong start to the new year, John Collins has positioned himself as a top-15 fantasy scorer over the last two weeks with 329 FanDuel points.
We’ve known about Collins’ hustle stemming from his rookie campaign last season and he’s taken a big step forward this year, upping his minutes, production, and efficiency. Still, his salary -- which hasn’t dipped below $8,000 since early December -- is a tad high for a guy who can fall victim to racking up fouls and limiting his own playing time and subsequent shots. That said, Collins is still averaging better than four-times value over his last nine games.
His upcoming stretch against tough defenses like Milwaukee, Oklahoma City, and Boston may not sound like an ideal time to roster Collins in the short term, but it may serve up as a decent opportunity for a slight salary decrease and maybe even a contrarian play on some nights.
