3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/16/19

Cleveland Cavaliers rookie point guard Collin Sexton may not be setting the league on fire, but he's holding his own and his price has fallen too much recently to not take advantage of.

Sexton's DraftKings salary got as high as $5,800 towards the end of November, bounced around a bit, then began a steady decline to the $4,400 it is tonight. The thing is, he hasn't been playing poorly. Like most rookies, however, his production can be all over the place, with 15 DraftKings points one night and 30-plus the next.

He's scored 27-plus DraftKings points in each of his past two games, and he'll look to continue that run of solid play when the Cavs head to the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. The Cavs have little chance of actually winning--they are 13.5-point underdogs--but the good thing about rookies on losing teams is that they'll get their minutes regardless of the outcome.

We have Sexton projected for 23.5 DraftKings points tonight, which would equate to a value of 5.4 DraftKings points per $1,000.
