Patrick Beverley PG/SG, Los Angeles Clippers
DraftKings Price: $4,800
Let's get one thing straight up front: Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is almost certainly not going to get close to the 53.5 DraftKings points he laid upon the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. With that said, he's still a decent option on a Tuesday slate that has only four games.
Beverley was a regular fixture in the Clippers' starting five to start the season, but the game against the Spurs represented his first starting gig in over two months. With Danilo Gallinari out, Doc Rivers opted to go with a three-guard lineup, with Beverley, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Avery Bradley joining Tobias Harris and Montrezl Harrell in the rotation.
Whether he gets the starting nod again tonight or not, Beverley should easily be pushing 30-35 minutes of run (he saw 42 on Sunday) with Gallinari expected to be out for three more games. Beverley is averaging just 18.4 DraftKings points in two games against the Dallas Mavericks this season, but he's done so in just 21.1 minutes, a rate of 0.87 DraftKings points per minute. If he can keep up that type of pace, he'll be ready to return a solid value on DraftKings, despite a $900 salary bump since his last game.
