Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets
DraftKings Price: $10,000
If Westbrook and the Thunder want to win, they'll have to find some way of slowing down Denver center Nikola Jokic. Good luck.
Jokic has been without equal at the five this season, especially when it comes to distributing the ball. The fourth-year veteran is averaging a ridiculous 7.7 assists this season. Not only does that rank sixth in the league this season among all players (the next closest center is Marc Gasol, whose 4.6 assists rank 33rd), but it's the third-best assist average in history by a center. The only center who has averaged more is Wilt Chamberlain, who needed 46.8 and 45.5 minutes per game to average 8.6 and 7.8 assists, respectively. Jokic has been on the floor for just 31.5 minutes per game this year.
Playing at home is a huge advantage for both Jokic and Denver (the Nuggets have the biggest home advantage across any of the major sports leagues, per Michael Lopez). Jokic is averaging 53.4 DraftKings points at home, compared to 46.7 on the road. He's doing it in 1.6 fewer minutes, as well. We project him for 52.6 DraftKings points tonight.
