3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 3/14/19

The Oklahoma City Thunder playing on the second half of a back-to-back means that today's salaries aren't affected by last night's performances. For Russell Westbrook, he's actually down $400 as he moves into a tougher matchup, and that also comes in part because his last three games before last night's were fairly underwhelming, notching 41.9, 54.1 and 51.2 FanDuel points.

He showed us last night that there was no need to be concerned about that short stretch, though, going off for 65.9 FanDuel points against the Brooklyn Nets. He's now scored 30-plus real-life points in four of his last five games, only failing to hit that mark against the Utah Jazz.

Maybe more importantly, he's also playing some big minutes. Those last five games have seen him average 36.7 per, and he's topped 37 in three of those contests. That compares favorably to his season average of 35.8, and it combines well with the fact that he's fifth in the NBA with an average of 1.53 FanDuel points per minute.

The Indiana Pacers don't make for an easy matchup, but this drop in price combined with a bounce-back in fantasy production makes it well worth looking past the tough matchup. Our models still have Westbrook projected as the day's top fantasy scorer.
