3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 4/9/19

While tonight's slate is full of scrubs who are bound to see extended minutes and ample opportunity, there is no player I'm more excited to watch tonight than Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki.

While he's put up averages of just 6.6 points and 2.9 boards this season, stats aren't the reason you need to consider rostering him tonight. The future Hall of Famer is set to start in what will be the last home game of his career, and the emotions will be flowing.

While he may not put up 60 like Kobe did in his last home game, I'm not betting against the NBA's sixth all-time leading scorer from going out on a huge high note. In a day and age where players move from team to team, Dirk is one of the few who has worn the same uniform throughout his career. Twenty-one years.

He's going to step on that court and have a big game. Dallas has given him a ton throughout the years, and he's going to give every ounce of energy and skill he has left and leave the home crowd with a performance to remember.
