Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Tuesday 11/8/16

There are several key injuries set to impact tonight's NBA DFS slate. For example, J.J. Barea could be in for a boost in value if Deron Williams sits.

Considering Monday was a somewhat light day for injuries, it's only fitting that on a night where America and the rest of the world will be waiting in suspense, NBA DFS players are likely going to be doing the same thing in the last minutes before rosters lock tonight.

There are three starting point guards who are banged up heading into Tuesday. Let's take a look at injuries that will impact tonight's proceedings.

Notable Injuries

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

While Damian Lillard may be the point guard to worry about the least tonight, it's worth noting that Lillard left Memphis with a splint on his hand after injuring his knuckle. Lillard finished the game and there was some swelling in his hand, but it would be a surprise if Lillard missed Tuesday's game. At one point, Lillard had the league's longest consecutive games streak, so his ability to play through injury has been documented.

Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies

One point guard you might need to worry about on Tuesday is Mike Conley. He is not only coming off Achilles surgery and potentially still feeling some soreness, but now he has a sore hamstring. The consensus seems to think that he will play, though. Conley is another player known for toughness and playing through injuries, but if the Memphis Grizzlies play it safe with him tonight, Marc Gasol could be very busy while Wade Baldwin IV becomes a huge value play.

Deron Williams, Dallas Mavericks

Deron Williams is also in danger of missing another game after sitting out on Sunday. With Dirk Nowitzki still out, as well, Williams is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's contest. Jose Juan Barea and Seth Curry would be in line for the biggest bump in minutes tonight if Williams sits. Also, Harrison Barnes might again be a huge value considering his 28.5 usage rate without Williams and Nowitzki, according to NBA Wowy.

Tony Allen, Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis is also dealing with an injury to the Grindfather, Tony Allen. The veteran shooting guard is questionable tonight with a groin injury, and if he misses, James Ennis could be in line for big minutes while Baldwin, Vince Carter and Troy Daniels would see a boost, as well.

Wilson Chandler, Denver Nuggets

Wilson Chandler had been on fire over his last three games, but he is also banged up heading into Tuesday's game. Chandler is suffering through a hamstring injury, and if he can make it through shootaround, he will suit up tonight. Will Barton is out tonight, so if Chandler misses, as well, Danilo Gallinari might have to play big minutes while Jamal Murray and Gary Harris might be forced to play some minutes at small forward. We could also have a Mike Miller sighting.

Larry Nance, Los Angeles Lakers

Larry Nance Jr. is listed as out on Tuesday with a concussion. Without him, the Los Angeles Lakers are going to have to rely heavily on Julius Randle, and Thomas Robinson could play a bigger role off the bench.

Lesser Injuries

Kyle Korver, Atlanta Hawks

Kyle Korver is healthy and probably feeling like a million bucks after his wife gave birth to a son on Sunday. He will be out on Tuesday because of it, and Thabo Sefolosha is stepping into the starting lineup. Sefolosha has had some big games already off the bench this season and he might be in for another one tonight. Kent Bazemore and Tim Hardaway Jr. might also have to play some more minutes for the Atlanta Hawks.

Darren Collison, Sacramento Kings

Finally, Darren Collison has finished his eight game suspension, and he will presumably find himself in the Sacramento Kings' starting lineup on Tuesday. This will send Ty Lawson back to the bench and could cut into Rudy Gay's 27.9% usage rate.
