Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Wednesday 11/23/16

There are 13 games and a ton of injuries on the day before Thanksgiving, and we are running through all the big ones.

With no games on Thanksgiving, there are a ton of games leading into the holiday -- 13 to be exact.

Several studs and starters might be down with injury tonight, so here are the ones that are affecting your roster construction the most.

Notable Injuries

Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans

We got the first taste of Anthony Davis getting knocked out of a game early last night, and even though he eventually returned to action, he effectively played only half a game, making him the biggest landmine on the Tuesday slate of games. However, the big man and his teammate Terrence Jones are listed as probable for tonight.

Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers got some good news after shootaround, as Paul George and Myles Turner are probable for Wednesday. However, C.J. Miles is out tonight, while Kevin Seraphin and Joseph Young are both listed as questionable. There's also Jeff Teague, who had to leave Monday's game with a sprained ankle, but he is not on the injury report, so at this point, we're assuming he plays.

Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks aren't as in as bad of shape as the Indiana Pacers tonight, but it's close. Dirk Nowitzki, however, might have a chance to play tonight. However, Deron Williams is doubtful, so it will continue to be the Seth Curry show on Wednesday. Andrew Bogut looks like he will play though.

Charlotte Hornets

Cody Zeller is officially questionable tonight, but he also didn't practice yesterday, so it looks like he might be in danger of missing another game. Frank Kaminsky hurt his ankle but has been practicing, so he looks to be in for another good game, even against the tough San Antonio Spurs. It also looks like Jeremy Lamb is set to return tonight for Charlotte.

Phoenix Suns

Tyson Chandler and T.J. Warren are both out on Wednesday, which will continue to open up minutes for Brandon Knight and Devin Booker. Alex Len should also continue to start and is coming off a nice double-double in his last game.

Utah Jazz

With Derrick Favors still out, the Utah Jazz need scoring, and they got some good news early in the afternoon. Both George Hill and Joe Johnson look like they will play tonight against the Denver Nuggets, so lock and load Hill tonight in a prime matchup.

Jae Crowder, Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are getting healthier, and Jae Crowder looks like he has a chance to play tonight. He has played in two games so far but acknowledged his ankle is still bothering him, so double check his status before rosters lock tonight to ensure he is playing.

D'Angelo Russell, Los Angeles Lakers

Just a reminder on this one, but D'Angelo Russell is out again tonight while dealing with a sore knee. Bump up Louis Williams, Jordan Clarkson and Jose Calderon.

Justise Winslow, Miami Heat

Justise Winslow is also out again on Wednesday with his fifth straight missed game. Josh Richardson has been starting at small forward, but it's been Dion Waiters who has seen the biggest boost over the last three games. However, this game is not very attractive for DFS purposes tonight.

Richaun Holmes and Gerald Henderson, Philadephia 76ers

Richaun Holmes and Gerald Henderson are both listed as doubtful, which should open up some value in both the frontcourt and backcourt for the Philadelphia 76ers. Henderson's potential absence could allow Nik Stauskas to start and be a fine value play, and if Holmes is out, it might allow Ersan Ilyasova to play some more minutes. Both look like great contrarian value plays on Wednesday.

Kyle Korver, Atlanta Hawks

Kyle Korver is out and resting tonight for the Atlanta Hawks, so Thabo Sefolosha will enter the starting lineup. Tim Hardaway Jr. is also now an intriguing value play coming off the bench for Atlanta.
