NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 12/3/16
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on today's slate.
Best of the Best
Kevin Durant (FanDuel Price: $10,500): Durant ranks fourth in the league in FanDuel scoring to start the season -- producing a solid 49.3 FanDuel points per game, which is tops on the slate by just under 8 FanDuel points. He is our highest-projected player tonight as the Golden State Warriors have a massive 122.25-point implied total at home against a Phoenix Suns team that ranks 21st in defensive rating and has allowed the league's fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards on the year. Durant is coming off a season-high 67.6 fantasy points in his last game, and KD is averaging 56.5 per game over his last four.
