Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Monday 12/26/16

Before the NBA tips off with a huge 11-game slate on Monday, check out our injury report before DFS lineups lock.

Sunday was a big day and night of NBA DFS on Christmas Day, and it doesn't end there. Monday brings another 11 games that brings a ton of different choices for DFS purposes, but that also means there are injuries to keep in mind before setting your lineup.

Notable Injuries

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off a huge Christmas Day win, but here on the day after they may choose to hold out both Kyrie Irving and LeBron James. If that happens, Kevin Love is a must-play in DFS, while Richard Jefferson, DeAndre Liggins and Iman Shumpert could also be nice values.

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks will get back both Dwight Howard and Tim Hardaway Jr. tonight. Plus, they should also have Kyle Korver back after he missed Friday's game with an illness.

Los Angeles Clippers

Not only are the Los Angeles Clippers going to be without Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, but they lost J.J. Redick Sunday night to a hamstring injury. This will continue to make Raymond Felton, Jamal Crawford and Austin Rivers great value plays.

All three are playable in cash and tournament formats against the Denver Nuggets.

Portland Trail Blazers

The biggest injury of Monday might be Damian Lillard, who is listed as doubtful. Lillard tends to play through injuries, so if he is indeed out, C.J. McCollum is a must play, while guys like Allen Crabbe and Mason Plumlee could be asked to do more on offense.

Evan Turner and Al-Farouq Aminu are both probable, so they could get a bump in value if Lillard is out.

Evan Fournier, Orlando Magic

Evan Fournier is dealing with a heel injury and is a game-time decision against the Memphis Grizzlies. Fournier has been great for the Orlando Magic this season and without him on Friday, Jodie Meeks played 27 minutes as a starter, while Elfrid Payton had a huge game off the bench.

C.J. Watson also got into the rotation, so double check Fournier's status before tip-off.

Rudy Gay, Sacramento Kings

While Omri Casspi was a healthy DNP-CD in the Sacramento Kings' last game, he looks good to go tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers, but Rudy Gay is doubtful. It's hard to trust Casspi, but other than DeMarcus Cousins, you're throwing darts to find fantasy value with the Kings.

Ty Lawson is playing well and might be the strongest secondary play for the Kings.

JJ Barea, Dallas Mavericks

Jose Juan Barea looks like he'll be out for the next few weeks, but the Dallas Mavericks will have Dirk Nowitzki, even if he is still on a minutes limit. Seth Curry is back in value consideration while Barea is out.

Lesser Injuries

Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks' game notes is full of injury news, as Mirza Teletovic is questionable with an illness. Steve Novak is also sick and already ruled out, but it looks like Michael Beasley will be back. If Teletovic is out, Jabari Parker might be forced into more minutes, while Greg Monroe, John Henson and Miles Plumlee might also see an uptick.

Richaun Holmes, Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers will be without Richaun Holmes while he deals with a concussion. Look for Ersan Ilyasova and Dario Saric to pick up a few extra minutes because of it.

Marco Belinelli, Charlotte Hornets

Marco Belinelli left Friday's game early and there has been no update on his status for Monday. If he is out, Jeremy Lamb might be in for a nice value bump.

Rodney Stuckey, Indiana Pacers

Rodney Stuckey looks like he has a chance to return and without Monta Ellis, he could see a good amount of minutes. His potential return will take a big hit to Glenn Robinson III and C.J. Miles' minutes.
