Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Wednesday 12/28/16

There are several value point guards on tonight's slate due to some high-profile injuries.

There are 10 games on Wednesday, but for the size of the slate, the injury list is rather controlled, for now. Several teams will be without their starting point guards tonight, but other than a few game-time decisions, it's a great night to play with just the right amount of value plays.

Notable Injuries

Los Angeles Clippers

Both Chris Paul and J.J. Redick are officially game-time decisions, but Doc Rivers seems to think they will both be sitting out tonight. If that's the case, it will once again be up to the trio of Jamal Crawford, Austin Rivers and Raymond Felton to lead the Los Angeles Clippers' backcourt. They have all seen some price adjustments for tonight, but they are still appealing.

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers will also be without their starting point guard as Damian Lillard has been ruled out. Allen Crabbe started in place of Lillard on Monday, but it will be C.J. McCollum who gains the biggest boost. McCollum and Mason Plumlee may be the only Blazers you can trust tonight in DFS.

Paul Millsap, Atlanta Hawks

Paul Millsap has a swollen eye, but it's not going to stop him from playing on Wednesday. He and Dwight Howard both have intriguing matchups tonight against the New York Knicks.

Jeremy Lin, Brooklyn Nets

Jeremy Lin was barely into unleashing Linsanity on Brooklyn until he missed 17 games with a hamstring injury. Now he is out again with the same injury. He isn't even traveling with the team, so it will be more of Isaiah Whitehead and Sean Kilpatrick in the backcourt while Brook Lopez should see a bump in usage against his brother and the Chicago Bulls.

Evan Fournier, Orlando Magic

Evan Fournier is still a game-time decision on Wednesday, but he missed shootaround, which is not a great sign. Jodie Meeks has started the last two games without him, so stay tuned to see if he makes it three games tonight.

Monta Ellis, Indiana Pacers

Monta Ellis has been listed as questionable despite earlier reports saying he was going to be reevaluated in two weeks. Either way, it's unlikely he plays much if he does suit up, so with Rodney Stuckey out Wednesday, it will be more of Glenn Robinson III and C.J. Miles on the wing for the Indiana Pacers.

Marco Belinelli, Charlotte Hornets

I almost put Marco Belinelli in the "Lesser Injuries' subsection, but with Jeremy Lamb going off for 25 FanDuel points in 22 minutes against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, Lamb is and should be a top value play for only $3,700 on FanDuel with Belinelli out.

Lesser Injuries

Mirza Teletovic, Milwaukee Bucks

Mirza Teletovic has entered the league's concussion protocol, so it looks like he is probably doubtful tonight. Jabari Parker played 40 minutes on Monday while Michael Beasley got 18 minutes. Both are in consideration Wednesday if we get confirmation that Teletovic is out.

Courtney Lee, New York Knicks

Courtney Lee had to have some fluid removed from his wrist, but he says he is good to go for Wednesday.

Doug McDermott, Chicago Bulls

Nikola Mirotic has been pushing for more playing time with the Bulls because he seems to be one of their only three-point shooting options. That is going to be amplified if Doug McDermott is out again on Wednesday. There should be an update on McDermott's status closer to tip, but he did not play Monday.

Terrence Ross, Toronto Raptors

Terrence Ross was forced from action on Monday with a wrist injury, and we haven't heard anything on his status for Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors. If he is out, Cory Joseph and Norman Powell might be in for an increase in minutes.
