Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Tuesday 1/24/17

It may only be a six-game slate, but it feels like nine with all the injuries you have to track tonight.

Several teams will be missing starters on Tuesday and it could open up several contrarian value options even on the shorter slate.

Notable Injuries

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers will not have Joel Embiid tonight, and they may not have Jahlil Okafor, either. Embiid is out with a knee bruise, but Okafor was downgraded this morning from probable to questionable after experiencing some knee soreness, too. If Okafor is out, Nerlens Noel would likely be forced to play big minutes while Richaun Holmes should get a boost after being recalled from the D-League.

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs sat out several players last night on the front end of a back to back, but Tony Parker will remain out tonight. Manu Ginobili will return after resting last night. Kawhi Leonard also sat out last night, but he should make his return for tonight's matchup against the Toronto Raptors.

Toronto Raptors

Toronto will be without DeMar DeRozan tonight and tomorrow, which means that Kyle Lowry may put the team on his back offensively. Terrence Ross and Norman Powell should also see a boost in playing time. The Raptors could also get back Patrick Patterson, who is listed as probable.

Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic have some backcourt problems. Evan Fournier has been out for five straight games, and he didn't practice yesterday. Jodie Meeks just came back and is now out with a thumb injury, and D.J. Augustin is day-to-day with an ankle sprain.

The Magic played without all three of those guys -- with the exception of five minutes from Augustin -- on Sunday. If they're all still out, C.J. Watson will probably have to play minutes in the high 30s while Mario Hezonja will also have to step into the rotation. However, Elfrid Payton seems like the guy who gets the biggest boost.

Boston Celtics

The longest injury report award goes to the Celtics, who have several guys dealing with illness. However, their biggest injury is to Avery Bradley, who is out for this entire week with an Achilles injury. With Bradley out, Marcus Smart, Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford should all get a lift.

On the bench for Boston, Jonas Jerebko and Tyler Zeller traveled with the team while Gerald Green and Demetrius Jackson will sit. However, these injuries don't shake up the rotation much.

Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers

After missing 18 games with a knee injury, Blake Griffin looks ready to play tonight for the Los Angeles Clippers. He should slide back into the starting lineup, but he may be on a minutes limit for the first few games.

Emmanuel Mudiay, Denver Nuggets

Emmanuel Mudiay is not looking good for the Denver Nuggets game tonight. Assuming he sits, Jamal Murray and Jameer Nelson are both excellent value options at guard.

Ricky Rubio, Minnesota Timberwolves

Ricky Rubio has missed the past game and a half due to hip and personal issues, but he says he is ready to play tonight. Look for him to be back in the starting lineup.
