Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Friday 3/31/17

With 11 games on the NBA DFS slate for Friday, there are tons of injury situations we need to sift through before tip off. Here is a list of all the known ailments players are dealing at the moment.

Notable Injuries

Memphis Grizzlies

Marc Gasol will remain out on Friday with a foot issue, and that's not the only injury for the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.

JaMychal Green is also out again, while Andrew Harrison is listed as questionable. Harrison's potential absence could give even more minutes to Mike Conley as well as Troy Daniels off the bench. In the frontcourt, Brandan Wright and Zach Randolph should be good plays without Gasol and Green.

Utah Jazz

George Hill, Derrick Favors and Raul Neto will not play on Friday for the Utah Jazz, which leaves some room for value against the Washington Wizards. Dante Exum started at point guard on Wednesday without those three, but it was Shelvin Mack who ended as the better fantasy option. Look for Boris Diaw and Joe Ingles to also get a bump without Favors.

Denver Nuggets

Will Barton has now been downgraded to doubtful for tonight's game after initially saying he'd play. The Denver Nuggets will have Mason Plumlee active, but assuming Barton now misses the game, look for Danilo Gallinari to have some extra appeal, along with Jamal Murray.

Philadelphia 76ers

Not only will the Philadelphia 76ers have a lot of inactives tonight, they will also be without Robert Covington, who is sitting out on Friday and again on Sunday. This should improve the value of Justin Anderson, Timothe Luwawu and Nik Stauskas.

Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic will once again not have Jeff Green for tonight's game, and they could be in danger of also missing Aaron Gordon. It looks like he'll come down to a game-time decision, but if he has to sit, the Magic could be forced to play very small and bring a guy like Damjan Rudez into the DFS conversation tonight.

New York Knicks

Both Derrick Rose and Carmelo Anthony are questionable for Friday night and Lance Thomas is listed as out in the New York Knicks' game notes. If Rose and Anthony don't play, Ron Baker and Mindaugas Kuzminskas would probably be the two best value plays for New York, with Kristaps Porzingis getting a lot of shots.

Taj Gibson, Oklahoma City Thunder

Taj Gibson is sick and missed shootaround this morning for the Oklahoma City Thunder, which throws his status for tonight's game up in the air.

Malcolm Brogdon, Milwaukee Bucks

Malcolm Brogdon is dealing with some back soreness and he will not play on Friday. Look for Jason Terry and Matthew Dellavedova to take on more minutes without the rookie in the lineup.

Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons

There has been no update on the availability of Reggie Jackson, but assuming he is out again, look for Ish Smith to keep the starting point guard duties for the Detroit Pistons again on Friday.

Lesser Injuries

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings are sitting out more players on Friday, with Kosta Koufos being the most important name on the list. Without Koufos, look for Willie Cauley-Stein and Georgios Papagiannis to gain some extra appeal.

Salah Mejri, Dallas Mavericks

Salah Mejri says he will play tonight after initially being ruled questionable by the Dallas Mavericks.

Nene Hilario, Houston Rockets

Nene Hilario has yet to play in back-to-back games this season, so he is probably out tonight for the Houston Rockets. However, Montrezl Harrell is expected to be back after missing Tuesday and Thursday due to the birth of his child. Harrell will likely slide into the backup center role without Nene and he could also see some minutes at power forward, making him an interesting tournament option.

Michael Beasley, Milwaukee Bucks

Michael Beasley will make his return for the Milwaukee Bucks tonight after missing 17 games with a knee injury. However, after missing so much time, don't expect him to play a huge role tonight against the Pistons.
