NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 12/10/17
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to
help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 7 pm EST and has just 3 games.
Best of the Best
DeMarcus Cousins (FanDuel Price: $12,000) and Anthony Davis ($10,500) - With Sunday's small three-game slate, there's no better place to start than the New Orleans Pelicans All-Star duo as the Pels own the highest implied point total of the day. Cousins (53.6) and Davis (47.8) average the most FanDuel points scored per game of any players on Sunday's slate. Boogie has been on a roll, averaging 65.4 FD points in his last three games, while AD appears to be at full strength after playing 31 minutes Friday night, his first game after a one-week absence due to injury. Their opponent, the Philadelphia 76ers, is allowing an average of 109.0 points per game in the last week and has struggled to contain big men. The Sixers rank in the middle of the pack (17th) in FD points allowed to power forwards but fall all the way to 24th in fantasy points given up to centers.
