NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Friday 3/2/18
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.
Here, we'll put all of that together and take a look at who you should target on today's slate.
Best of the Best
Russell Westbrook ($11,900): Russ took advantage of a great matchup against Dallas on Wednesday, bouncing out of a short slump with 56.1 FanDuel points, and he finds himself in an even better spot tonight against Phoenix. The Suns' top-five pace and league-worst defensive rating has them allowing top-five fantasy numbers to opposing point guards, and they also allow opponents to nab the league's third-most rebounds per game, giving Westbrook a boost that doesn't apply to most point guards. It's no surprise that Westbrook triple-doubled in his first game against the Suns this year, and with 22.0 points, 11.6 assists and 10.4 boards per game over his last 10, we can expect another big night in a dream matchup.
