3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Wednesday 11/6/19

Is Trae Young a good bet to go over his projected totals against the Bulls? What other prop bets should you target tonight?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's statline, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Trae Young, Over 34.5 Points + Assists

After missing one game due to an ankle injury, Trae Young returned to the lineup to the tune of 29 points and 13 assists in Atlanta's win over the Spurs. John Collins is out of the lineup again after starting his 25-game suspension for violating the NBA's anti-drug policy. This leaves Young as the primary and secondary scorer for the Hawks. Taking out Young's game against the Miami Heat, where he went down with the ankle injury, he's averaging 32.5 points, 10.0 assists, and 4.5 made threes a game. His over/under on made threes is 2.5, his point total 25.5, and assists 9.5. I like a combination of the over on points and assists tonight. The over on his made three-pointers is a good bonus play or game parlay.

Thomas Bryant, Over 10.5 Rebounds

Thomas Bryant has had a nice season for the Washington Wizards, averaging 12.5 points and 9.7 rebounds through six games. Tonight, the Wizards play the Indiana Pacers, who might be without star big men Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner -- giving Bryant the green light. In six games this season, Bryant has grabbed 58 rebounds for an average of 9.7 per game -- that includes three games with 11 or more boards. Sabonis is eighth in the league in rebounding (11.4), so if he's missing from the lineup, it will be increasingly difficult for the Pacers to fill that void. The Pacers are on their second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Charlotte Hornets 122-120 in overtime last night, so fatigue could be an issue for Indiana. I like Bryant to go over his 10.5 rebounds total.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Over 27.5 Points

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks travel to Staples Center for a showdown with the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, who will be without star Kawhi Leonard in the lineup. Leonard gets another game off due to load management, while Giannis and the Bucks are vying for their fourth-straight win. Giannis has been playing excellent to start the season, especially in his last two games. The Greek Freak had 34 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists in Milwaukee's 28-point win over the Timberwolves on Monday, as well as 36 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists in their 10-point win over the Raptors on Saturday. Giannis has carried the scoring load, topping 27 points in five of seven games this season. He's second in player efficiency rating (34.28), third in rebounding (14.0), and fifth in scoring (27.7) to start the season. Giannis averaged 30.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in two games versus the Clippers last year.
