5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/14/19

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup

Spencer Dinwiddie, SG, Brooklyn Nets ($5,500)

With Kyrie Irving listed as questionable for tonight's game, Spencer Dinwiddie could be in for a massive role.

Dinwiddie saw a solid 23 minutes in the Brooklyn Nets' most recent game, but that number should be on the rise with Caris LeVert also out today due to a thumb injury. The Nets' backcourt is looking a bit thin right now, and that should put Dinwiddie in line for 30-plus minutes. Our projections have him at 26 minutes and 24.9 FanDuel points, but we still account for Irving not being ruled out. To be clear: Dinwiddie is a solid value play regardless of the Irving status, so we should look to him confidently tonight.

The Nets are up against the Denver Nuggets, and the over/under is set at 221.0 points. While this is a pace-down spot for Brooklyn, the extra usage for Dinwiddie should allow him to reach and exceed fantasy value.

Kenrich Williams, SF, New Orleans Pelicans ($4,700)

The New Orleans Pelicans are dealing with a ton of injuries right now, opening up plenty of value in their lineup.

Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart are out for this game, while Brandon Ingram is listed as a game-time-decision. They also have Jahlil Okafor listed as questionable, which means Derrick Favors should be the starting center. There's a lot of information to digest here, but all of this means Kenrich Williams should enter the starting lineup.

Tonight's game versus the Los Angeles Clippers has a whopping 235.5-point total -- the highest on the slate -- making this a clear spot to target for fantasy production. The Clippers are also on the second night of a back-to-back, which means they will be resting Kawhi Leonard, making the matchup easier for Kenrich on the wing.

JaMychal Green, PF, Los Angeles Clippers ($3,900)

Speaking of the Clippers, they will see their rotation changed up a bit tonight when it comes to the forward spots.

JaMychal Green had a very productive double-double off the bench last night and is under $4K tonight. Green is a great value play tonight in a game with a super-high over/under. So far this season, Kawhi has sat out two games, one of which Green got the start and the other being a game in which he played more than 30 minutes.

Our projections have Green going for 26 minutes and posting 26.9 FanDuel points, with him coming in as the second-best point-per-dollar value option on the entire slate. He is up against the Pelicans, who are allowing 48.8 FanDuel points per game to power forwards, the third-most in the league. This sets up to be a fantastic spot for Green in a great fantasy environment.

Sterling Brown, SF, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,300)

With Khris Middleton out for several weeks, the Milwaukee Bucks' rotation and starting lineup is going to be changed.

Middleton suffered a leg injury in the Bucks' most recent game, and with him leaving early, we saw Sterling Brown play 18 minutes off the bench while posting 21.1 FanDuel points. Getting more than one fantasy point per minute from a player under $5K can be extremely helpful to your lineup. Brown is not only expected to see extra minutes overall, but he could enter the starting lineup tonight versus the Chicago Bulls. Attacking the Bulls in DFS has been a trend for a few seasons, and with an over/under of 229 in this one, the Bucks are set for plenty of fantasy points.

The Bulls are allowing 39.5 FanDuel points per game to shooting guards this season -- which is right around the league average. We don't need Brown to reach 40 FanDuel points. All he needs is 21.5 FanDuel points in order to reach 5x value.

Maurice Harkless, SF, Los Angeles Clippers ($3,800)

Not only have the Clippers ruled Kawhi Leonard out, they have also ruled Patrick Beverley out for tonight's game, and Landry Shamet is still out with an ankle injury. Oh, boy, this means it's almost a certainty that Maurice Harkless will be in the starting lineup for the second straight game.

Harkless didn't have the best performance last night, but most of the offensive usage was dominated by Kawhi, which won't be the case today. This is a pace-up spot for the Clippers, a high over/under game, and a good defensive matchup, as the Pelicans are allowing 39.9 FanDuel points per game to small forwards.

This is reflected in our projections, as we have Harkless playing 25 minutes and posting 21.2 FanDuel points, which makes him the sixth-best point-per-dollar option on the entire slate.
