DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Monday 2/10/20

With nine games to choose from on tonight's NBA slate, let's take a look at how to utilize the DFS possibilities.

Here are some of the top plays and sleepers on DraftKings. As always, good luck.

Point Guard

Jamal Murray ($7,000) -- Murray has been on fire since returning from injury, averaging 42.75 fantasy points over his last three games. Murray converted 14 of his 17 shots (82.4%) against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, as well as 6 for 8 (66.7%) from three against. The San Antonio Spurs are in town tonight, and they allow the 12th-most fantasy points and third-most made three-pointers per game (3.01) to point guards. Murray has made 13 of his 23 three-point attempts (56.5%) in his three games back and scored 31 or more in each of his last two. numberFire's model projects Murray to record 18.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists, but his 29-point, 5-rebound, and 3-assist average over the last three games is hard to ignore.

Kendrick Nunn ($6,000) -- Nunn has hit a wall his past three games, shooting under 32-percent from the field in all three. Despite that, he's still surpassed his fantasy average (26.6) in two of those contests. Tonight, the Miami Heat face Golden State, potentially without Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro. Nunn recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in his first meeting with the Warriors, but the Heat will need more from him. Golden State allows the third-most fantasy points to point guards (50.56) and are top-five worst in points (25.58), rebounds (6.88), and steals (2.05) allowed to the position. Look at Nunn and Goran Dragic ($5,900) as must-haves in lineups tonight if Butler and Herro are out.

Shooting Guard

Evan Fournier ($5,800) -- Luckily for Fournier and the Magic, the Atlanta Hawks' defense should be tired after last night's double-overtime game. Fournier has played 30 or more minutes in 14 straight games and is averaging 0.85 fantasy points per minute over his last 10. The Hawks allow the fourth-most fantasy points to shooting guards (44.17), as well as the seventh-most real-life points per game (23.46). Fournier has had success this season versus Atlanta, averaging 22.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in two games. numberFire projects Fournier to record 30.3 total fantasy points in 31.64 minutes played tonight.

Khris Middleton ($7,900) -- Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable due to personal reasons, and if he's unable to go, Middleton becomes a must-play tonight. We all remember his 51-point performance against Washington without Giannis, and while I'm not saying he will do the same, a 30-point game is not out of the question. The Kings allow the eighth-most made three-pointers per game (2.64) by small forwards and are 17th in fantasy points per game allowed to the position (41.10). Middleton is up to 1.30 fantasy points per minute over the last five games, compared to his 1.14 season average. Middleton's average is up over 20 percent to 44.30 fantasy points over his last five contests.

Small Forward

Buddy Hield ($6,600) -- If Giannis is out, Hield is another value-play worth grabbing -- along with Middleton -- in the Kings-Bucks matchup. On Saturday, Hield erupted for 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists for 53.5 fantasy points -- his third 50-point fantasy night in 10 games. Milwaukee allows the 10th-most made three-pointers in the league to shooting guards (3.40), and Hield has made 27 threes over his last five games, attempting 52 (51.9%). Hield is up to 1.30 fantasy points per minute over his last five. numberFire projects Hield to record 30.5 fantasy points on 20.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists -- but I'll back him to exceed his fantasy average (34.6) tonight.

Caris LeVert ($7,000) -- LeVert has busted back onto the scene with Kyrie Irving sidelined, and for $7,000, he can be considered a steal. The Indiana Pacers defense is no joke, holding small forwards to an NBA-best 35.40 fantasy points per game. LeVert, however, plays a little point guard as well alongside Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,900), who has also put together a nice string of games. Either player is a threat to lead Brooklyn in scoring and fantasy points without Irving, though LeVert's 45.5 fantasy points per game over his last three is too much to pass up on. He totaled 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists versus Indiana earlier this season, and made 15 of his 25 shot attempts (60%) for 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in two games against them last season.

Power Forward

Pascal Siakam ($8,100) -- Siakam and the Raptors escaped with another close victory in Toronto over the Nets on Saturday, and Siakam led the charge. He did finish under his fantasy average of 41.9 points, but this could be another high-scoring affair if D'Angelo Russell makes his first appearance in Minnesota tonight. If Russell plays, this matchup changes and Siakam should dominate. Siakam has averaged 1.19 fantasy points per minute over his last 10 games, and numberFire's model predicts Siakam to total 23 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists -- totaling 41 fantasy points.

Anthony Davis ($10,300) -- This will AD's third meeting of the season with Phoenix, and he's averaged 25 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3 assists in the first two. He's caught a mini-hot streak over his last two games, with double-doubles of 27 points and 10 rebounds, and 32 points and 13 rebounds. Davis has the second-highest ceiling (65.13) of any forward/center tonight, and the second-most fantasy points per game average (53.35) behind Giannis. Davis has averaged three steals and two blocks per game over his last two, and expect that to continue against a Suns team that coughs the ball up to opposing centers. Expect Davis to get some extra fantasy points off his defensive efforts tonight -- in addition to an all-around monster game.

Center

Brook Lopez ($5,300) -- The Kings are dealing with serious center injuries, and after trading Dewayne Dedmon ($4,400), they're relying on Harry Giles ($3,500) and Nemanja Bjelica ($6,000) at the four and five positions. The Kings allow the eighth-most rebounds per game to centers (15.64), and if Giannis is out, Lopez has some really deep value tonight. Lopez's fantasy average is up more than seven percent in the last five games (27.15), and he holds a 34.43 ceiling factor tonight. Lopez is averaging 0.93 fantasy points per minute, and numberFire projects him to record 11 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists for 25.9 fantasy points in 26.87 minutes.

Bam Adebayo ($8,200) -- Adebayo put up impressive all-around numbers in the Heat's loss last night -- posting 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists for 44.5 fantasy points. Adebayo has surpassed his fantasy average (40.7) over the last five games, and depending on the injury report tonight, his chances of doing so again are high. The Warriors allow the second-most rebounds per game (17.39) to centers, which is a key number for Adebayo given his track record of rebounds on back-to-backs. He averages his lowest total of 8.3 rebounds per game in nine games with no rest. That said, if Butler is out, expect a double-double and another high-assist game from Adebayo.
