3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Tuesday 3/3/20
Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.
While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money betting everyday player props.
For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Spencer Dinwiddie, Over 7.5 Assists
Spencer Dinwiddie has dished out 12 or more assists in each of his past two games, and versus the Boston Celtics this season, he's recorded 11 dimes in both meetings. Dinwiddie averaged 8.2 assists in February over 12 games, and he led the Nets in assists nine of those 12 games. Dinwiddie has hit over 7.5 assists in seven of his last eight games, and this matchup with the Celtics could potentially be an Eastern Conference Playoff preview.
The lone game Dinwiddie failed to record eight or more assists in was versus the Washington Wizards, and in that matchup, he had a February-high six turnovers. In his last 12 games, he recorded three turnovers or fewer 10 times and averaged 8.9 assists in those games. The Nets are averaging 111.6 points per game in six games out of the break, and off two days of rest, DInwiddie is averaging an assist total of 7.8 per game in 10 contests in the split.
Bismack Biyombo, Over 7.5 Points
Bismack Biyombo has three straight games of eight-plus points and faces a San Antonio Spurs team that's without LaMarcus Aldridge and Jakob Poeltl. Charlotte is back at home after almost defeating the Milwaukee Bucks. At home, Biyombo averages 7.4 points in 19.5 minutes per game, and as team, the Hornets have scored 44 points in the paint over the six games out of the break.
Biyombo has averaged 8.0 points in the paint over his last three games, and 5.5 over his last 10 games. The Spurs have allowed five out of five combined power forwards and centers to score eight or more points against them in the past two games. Factor that in with the Spurs giving up 111 points per game as a team (10th) in those two contests, and Biyombo is one of two big men who could and should score double-digits versus San Antonio.
Zion Williamson, Over 26.5 Points
Zion Williamson has now extended his 20-point streak to 11 straight games and 13 of 15 overall. It seems nobody can slow him down, and the Minnesota Timberwolves are next in line to try to stop him. The Pelicans are averaging 119.8 points per game over their last 15 since Zion joined the team, and in his last six games versus Western Conference opponents, he's scored 25 or more in all six, surpassing 30 three times.
Minnesota ranks 21st versus power forwards, allowing 22.60 points per game, and they sit dead-last in the league in points per game given up (128.00 over the last five contests. Zion is averaging the second-most points in the paint (17.5) in the entire league behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Minnesota has surrendered 50.5 paint points per game over their last five contests, the eighth-most.
Williamson's usage rate is at 30.9% over his last five, and he's played 30 or more minutes in seven of his last 10. The pace of this game should be a track-meet, with the Pelicans ranked second in pace (106.1) and Minnesota is fifth (105.7). All signs point to Zion having a big game.
