3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Friday 3/6/20

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Lebron James, Over 45.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting a potential preview of the the NBA Finals tonight versus the Milwaukee Bucks. The King met the Bucks in Milwaukee earlier this season and posted a triple-double of 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. LeBron has gone over 45.5 combined points, boards, and dimes in three of his last six games since the All-Star break, and he's totaled 42 or more points, rebounds, and assists in each of his four home games in that time.

James has made two or more three-pointers and grabbed seven or more rebounds in each of his last five games. He's double-doubled in three of the last six and shot at least 44% in seven straight. He's played 34 or more minutes in nine of his last 10, and his usage rate is at 34.46% over his last five games. He has scored 29 or more points in four of his last six and dished out nine or more assists in four of six.

LeBron is doing it all for the Lakers, and I think tonight's playoff atmosphere will bring out the best in him.

Bradley Beal, Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers

Bradley Beal has continued his stellar streak of shooting, and he faces a favorable defense in the Atlanta Hawks. In the Washington Wizards' first meeting with the Hawks, the score was 152-133, and Beal scored 40 points despite going 1-for-5 from deep.

Lately Beal has been on fire from three-point land, and at home, he's made three or more treys in six of his last 10 games and two or more in eight of 10. Beal has made three or more triples in six of his last seven games overall, and he's made two or more in seven straight outings. Beal's usage rate is at 36.68% over his last five games, the highest of any player on the slate tonight. He's also scored 30 or more points in eight of his last 10. numberFire's model projects Beal to make 3.2 three-pointers, hitting the over on this one.

Markelle Fultz, Over 13.5 Points

I wouldn't call Markelle Fultz a scorer, but he could be just that taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Orlando Magic and Minnesota have been two of the worst teams defensively since the All-Star break, and that should continue tonight. Minnesota is allowing 123 points per game over their last five (29th), and Orlando's allowing 121 per outing (T-26th). Fultz has scored 14 points in two of his last four games and will face Minnesota for a second time after posting 14 points in the first meeting.

Fultz is averaging better scoring numbers on the road this season than he is at home. Away from home, he's averaging 12.5 points per game (10.9 at home), 11.1 field attempts (9.7), 47.5% from the field (45.4%), and 29.2 minutes (27.4). The Timberwolves allow the most points per game to point guards (25.97) and the fifth-most to shooting guards (23.96). Fultz averaged 12.8 points in January and 12.1 in February, steadily increasing his minutes to 30.3 in January and 31.3 in February.

Our projections have Fultz scoring 13.2 points tonight in 32.35 minutes in this soft matchup, but I like him to narrowly get past this line of 13.5.
