Jrue Holiday, Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

Jrue Holiday had a solid opening night in the league's return to action for the Pelicans, though they are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Holiday recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in 36 minutes versus the Jazz, and versus the Clippers, he played 24 minutes and struggled to do much of anything. The Pelicans dropping their first two games means they all but need to win out if they want a shot at the postseason, and their opponent, the Memphis Grizzlies, don't have the luxury of losing many more games after dropping their first two as well.

Versus the Grizzlies, Holiday has averaged 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 28.6 minutes over two meetings this season. In 27 career games versus Memphis, he averages 16.2 points per game, 6.1 assists, and 3.9 rebounds. Luckily for him, Memphis allows the most rebounds (6.78), eighth-most three-pointers (3.11), and 14th-most points (24.01) per game to point guards. They're not much better versus shooting guards, allowing the fourth-most points (24.35), ninth-most rebounds (6.64), and 10th-most assists (4.82) per contest.

Holiday is a combo guard, playing right into what Memphis struggles to defend. When he plays between 30-39 minutes this season, he averages 20.1 points, 6.8 assists, and 5.1 rebounds. Holiday could have a statement game for the Pelicans on Monday as they jockey for postseason position. Holiday is predicted by numberFire's models to total 20.7 points, 7.4 assists, and 5.1 rebounds versus the Grizzlies, comfortably reaching the over.

Joel Embiid, Over 38.5 Points + Rebounds (-116)

Joel Embiid shared the spotlight with T.J. Warren in his last game, as the two combined for 93 points. Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers lost that first game, but Embiid put on a show. Embiid will embrace the attention and continue to be the driving factor for this team. When Embiid plays between 30-39 minutes, he averages 26.7 points and 13.5 rebounds in 26 games this season.

Embiid recorded 21 points and 14 rebounds in his only meeting with the Spurs this season, and that was with LaMarcus Aldridge on the court. Now it's all up to Jakob Poeltl to guard Embiid. Embiid was able to body Myles Turner for 41 points and 21 rebounds, so I'm afraid for Poeltl's well-being. Additionally, the Spurs will be playing on the backend of a back-to-back, which is a tough task, especially in these circumstances. Embiid should be to follow up his 41-21 performance with something special against a weaker Spurs defense. Look for him to reach the over on scoring and rebounds.

Nikola Jokic Over 20.5 Points (-116)

The Nuggets could be down Will Barton, Gary Harris, and Jamal Murray versus the Thunder, and yet again, they'll have to call upon Nikola Jokic to lead the team in a vital seeding game. The Nuggets big man has averaged 30 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game on 79.3% from the field in two meetings with the Thunder this season. Jokic only attempted one shot in the entire fourth quarter versus the Miami Heat on Saturday, and he still scored 19 points on 7-of-16 shooting (43.8%).

Jokic has sported a team-high 25.5% usage rate without those three in action. When Jokic plays between 30-39 minutes, he averages 22 points per game over 49 contests, and he's averaging 20.7 points over 39 games versus Western Conference opponents. He's going to the first scoring option, and he's well worth a bet to go over his point total. numberFire's model projects him to record 21.1 points versus the Thunder.
