NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Wednesday 5/26/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Danny Green, SF, Philadelphia 76ers ($4,100)

Will Danny Green be one of the most popular value plays tonight? He should be.

The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to go up 2-0 in their series versus the Washington Wizards, and we are looking for some fantasy value here. Green comes in as the cheapest member of the 76ers' starting lineup and has plenty of point-per-dollar value. Green posted 24.4 FanDuel points in 31 minutes during Game 1. While that is under one FanDuel point per minute, Green still exceeded value in that game because he was only $4,100. He is at the same salary tonight and projected to exceed value yet again.

numberFire's projections have Green going for 27.76 minutes and 22.3 FanDuel points, making him the third-best value option on the slate. This game also features a slate-high 229.5-point over/under, which is a full 10 points higher than the next highest game on the slate.

With Green's three-point ability, his favorable salary, and a great game environment, expect him to be very popular tonight.

Grayson Allen, SG, Memphis Grizzlies ($4,200)

The Utah Jazz will look to even up their series with the Memphis Grizzlies tonight, and we need value options.

In Game 1, the Grizzlies used five players off the bench, where only one of them saw over 20 minutes. That player was Grayson Allen, and it should be the role we see him in yet again tonight, as he is projected for 25.10 minutes and 19.9 FanDuel points.

This is the level of production we are looking for from Allen after a very slow Game 1. In the 22 minutes he played off the bench, Allen was only able to post 6.2 FanDuel points, which is bad. He wasn't able to fill up the stat sheet as he normally does, which is where his fantasy value comes from.

He should be able to accomplish this as the expectation for scoring is looking strong. According to oddsFire, the total for this game opened at 216 and is now at 219 points. More scoring means more opportunities for fantasy scoring, fitting with what Allen does best.
