NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Thursday 6/3/21

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Jae Crowder, PF, Phoenix Suns ($5,300)

Jae Crowder's cold and hot from three-point range is very clear in this series, but he is still a value option tonight.

Crowder started off the first three games of the series going 2 of 20 from downtown and was clearly out of rhythm in the Phoenix Suns' offense. However, in the past two games, Crowder has knocked down 6 three-pointers on 17 attempts, getting back to the level we've seen him in most seasons. With the Suns in a closeout game against the Los Angeles Lakers, they will need consistent scoring from all players. Now that Crowder is hitting shots from deep, he is a value option you can turn to in DFS.

This game has an over/under of just 207.5 points, but it features a close 2.0-point spread. If Crowder can continue to contribute in the peripheral stat categories, he should be on his way to exceeding value tonight.

Aaron Gordon, PF, Denver Nuggets ($5,600)

The Denver Nuggets can win their series tonight, and they offer some value options.

On a two-game slate, the value options are limited. There are some great high-salary options on this slate that we want to roster, and with Aaron Gordon in the mid-tier, he should fit well with roster construction. He comes in with double-digit real-life points in four of the five games in this series, which has led to at least 22.0 FanDuel points in those same four games.

The matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers has a 228.0-point over/under, which is considerably higher than the other game. This should be the go-to fantasy environment of the slate.

We have Gordon projected for 32.77 minutes and 29.7 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option on the slate.
