3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 11/29/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays.

If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at some players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup on FanDuel tonight, using numberFire's daily fantasy basketball projections as a guide.

Justise Winslow, SF, Portland Trail Blazers

FanDuel Salary: $5,200

Justise Winslow remains a relevant DFS value option while Damian Lillard is out.

Winslow, across 356.3 minutes without Lillard on the floor this season, has a 16.5% usage rate and averages 0.85 FanDuel points per minute, according to CourtIQ. Those aren't huge bumps from his splits with Lillard (1.2 points to the usage rate and 0.07 to the fantasy output); however, the minutes have become really bankable for Winslow.

Winslow has actually played 46.4 and 37.2 minutes over the past two games, and he has generated at least 26.2 FanDuel points in three straight games.

numberFire's model projects Winslow for 35.3 minutes -- most of anyone with a salary of $6,400 or lower -- and for 6.13 FanDuel points per $1,000 in salary.

Mitchell Robinson, C, New York Knicks

FanDuel Salary: $5,700

On a three-game slate, any semblance of volatility that can lead to upside is welcomed.

Mitchell Robinson has that through both rebounds and blocks.

Robinson showed the block potential last game when he rejected five shots. He has at least two blocks in eight of nine games with 16 or more minutes played, and he has played 23.1 and 31.6 minutes in the past two games.

His opponent tonight, the Detroit Pistons, offer up 6.5 blocked shots per game -- second-most in the NBA.

Amir Coffey, SF/SG, Los Angeles Clippers

FanDuel Salary: $3,900

Also on a three-game slate, any semblance of a pulse at a sub-$4,000 is welcomed.

Amir Coffey has an opportunity with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, John Wall, and Luke Kennard all out.

The injuries for the Los Angeles Clippers have led to 21.9, 35.9, 24.8, and 28.1 minutes over Coffey's past four games. In that split, he has averaged 18.6 FanDuel points on a line of 9.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 0.5 steals.

He's not going to be the one who breaks open the slate, but his salary certainly could be the key to rostering the stars who do.

Coffey is numberFire's second-best projected value of the night.
