Daily Fantasy Basketball Injuries and Updates for 4/8/16

Find the best value for your daily fantasy roster by knowing the latest injuries and updates.

In daily fantasy basketball, every edge matters.

One of the easiest ways to find an edge is to understand what happens to a team when injuries occur. Who stands to benefit? Who might struggle as a result? That's all vital information during the lineup-building process.

What should you know about tonight's slate of games? Let's break it down.

As always, you should make sure to double-check our NBA Player News page before finalizing your lineup.

The Definites

The Clippers are resting their key players tonight which opens up a ton of value. Jamal CrawfordCole Aldrich, and Jeff Green will benefit the most. Last time the starters sat out, they combined for 94.3 fantasy points. 46.7 of those points came from Crawford. Crawford sees a 41% increase in his Usage Rate with Chris Paul off the court, per NBAWowy.com.

The news came out yesterday, so I do expect their ownership percentages to be rather high. But it will be hard to fade the potential from any of these three.

The Spurs are resting pretty much everyone except for Tim Duncan tonight. Our projections love Patrick Mills and David West as they will likely see a lot of playing time tonight. Another player that has a chance to do well is Boban Marjanovic. His per-minute production has been incredible -- he ranks 11th in FanDuel points per minute out of everyone in the league. If he sees 30 minutes of playing time, Marjanovic will have a great opportunity tonight, especially because he has just a minimum salary of $3,500.

Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out again tonight for the Knicks. With him out, Derrick Williams continues to be very valuable for daily fantasy purposes. He has been a common player in these articles, but he is just $4,500 and has been over five times his salary in four straight games.

Nicolas Batum will return to the lineup after a brief absence. When he sits out, Jeremy Lin and Courtney Lee see a large increase in value. But with Batum back for the Hornets, everything will go back to normal.

The To-Be-Determined List

John Wall was in street clothes last game, and Ramon Sessions absolutely dominated in his absence. Sessions put together 40 fantasy points and will look to follow up his performance tonight as they face the Pistons.

Wall's MRI came back clean, but he said that he probably won't play. Sessions will only cost you $4,100 tonight on FanDuel.
